Silicon Laboratories Boosts Stock Buyback to $450 Million >SLAB

Silicon Laboratories Inc. on Monday said its board added $200 million to its share-repurchase authorization, bringing the program to $450 million.

The Austin, Texas, wireless-technology company, which had about 34.2 million shares outstanding as of July 19, sports a market capitalization of roughly $4.47 billion.

Silicon Laboratories last month said the board had authorized $250 million in share repurchases through the end of 2023.
