The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday morning with shares of Home Depot and Walmart facing the biggest drops for the index. Shares of Home Depot HD, -2.49% and Walmart WMT, -2.15% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.56% was most recently trading 192 points, or 0.6%, lower. Home Depot’s shares have declined $9.46 (3.1%) while those of Walmart have fallen $2.82 (2.3%), combining for an approximately 81-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.54%, 3M MMM, -1.31%, undefined Honeywell International Inc. HON, -1.18%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
