Apple Inc.’s shares are up $2.38 (1.6%) while those of American Express are up $2.67 (1.6%), combining for an approximately 33-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Goldman Sachs GS, +1.60%, Cisco CSCO, +1.48%, undefined Visa V, +1.94%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
