Shares of Visa and Microsoft are trading higher Wednesday morning, lifting the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Visa V, +8.32% and Microsoft MSFT, +6.25% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.53% is trading 75 points, or 0.2%, higher. Visa’s shares are up $16.42 (8.2%) while those of Microsoft have gained $14.62 (5.4%), combining for a roughly 205-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Salesforce Inc. CRM, +2.42%, Nike NKE, +1.57%, and Caterpillar CAT, +1.57%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
