Johnson & Johnson, Nike share gains lead Dow's 188-point climb

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Tuesday morning with shares of Johnson & Johnson and Nike leading the way for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +0.85% was most recently trading 188 points, or 0.6%, higher, as shares of Johnson & Johnson JNJ, +3.86% and Nike NKE, +2.65% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Johnson & Johnson’s shares are up $7.03, or 4.0%, while those of Nike have gained $3.30 (2.5%), combining for a roughly 68-point boost for the Dow. Boeing BA, +3.25%, 3M MMM, +1.51%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, +1.24% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
