Retirement Package Could Receive House Vote Next Week

A package of retirement provisions that has bipartisan support could be voted on by the House as soon as the week of March 28, a lawmaker familiar with discussions said.

A version of the legislative package, known as Secure 2.0, was approved by the House Ways and Means Committee last May. The bill (H.R. 2954) builds on another retirement package that became law in 2019.
